Your First Visit

Your first visit to Gorman Optimal Health Solutions, Inc. will give you an opportunity to find out if Chiropractic and Applied Kinesiology can help you. You can expect to be in the office for approximately 60 minutes as you will receive a thorough case history and detailed examination to ensure that your condition can be helped. The examination will consist of Chiropractic, Neurologic, Orthopedic, Physical, and Kinesiologic exams and urine testing. Depending upon the findings of your examination, x-rays and/or laboratory tests (blood, saliva, and/or stool) may be recommended to help the doctor gather more information he needs to best help you. In most cases, the doctor will not adjust a patient on the first visit. The doctor will review your findings in great detail and on the following visit present to you his findings and proposed schedule of care. You will begin your adjustments on that day and any other treatments that your condition would necessitate. It is important to remember that Dr. Gorman believes in natural healing, including chiropractic treatments, acupressure, rehabilitation, therapy, homeopathy, diet/nutrition, and stress reduction techniques. However, if he feels that you would also benefit from the referral to another health professional that would also be made at this time.

Information gathered during your first visit is used to gain functional insights into physiological patterns related to stress, nervous system interference, and lifestyle factors. We do not diagnose medical conditions. Findings are used to guide supportive care planning and do not replace care from a licensed medical provider.
